Beginning a career in the Administrative Field was the most affirming decision I could have ever made.
At the age of 18, I was a single mother of two, trying to survive in the rough neighborhoods of Southeast Washington, DC. I had no direction or support, and the feeling of being successful was almost nonexistent.
Being introduced to the Administrative Field had a very positive impact on not only my life but my family’s life as well. I was empowered to change my living situation and purchased my first home in a prestigious neighborhood. My children attended better schools and finally felt safe enough to play outside, and I was capable of making all this happen while working as an Administrative Professional.
Recognizing what the profession has done for me, I have now become an advocate for the field. I not only want to build successful and qualified professionals but also improve the lives of lower to middle-class citizens, which is what inspired me to create the Khoury Administrative Learning Institute (KALI).
Our Mission is to produce successful Administrative Professionals by providing foundational training, developing skillsets, and knowledge that would point any individual in the right direction to becoming a top-notch Administrative Assistant. My unremitting goal is to promote the Administrative field as a career, rather than just a job, with the hopes that my program brings the same success stories to others as it did for me.
We are in the business of building successful Administrative Assistants by providing individuals with the foundational training that will develop them into qualified Administrative Professionals.
